Created by John Barton in 2016 this annual event held at the Pier House, is a showcase of local talent. WHAAM is one night of brilliant performances used to raise money for Appledore RNLI. It got too much for one person to organize so we have jumped into help this year.

FRIDAY 22nd NOVEMBER 2019THIS YEARS ACTS-
CHARLOTTE PIRRONE - Charlotte won Westward Ho!'s Got Talent this year as part of the Sunset Festivals. She battled through the rounds and rose to the top, winning the online poll and two judge votes too. This will be the first time Charlotte has attended an event for us in Westward Ho! and a brilliant way to start the evening.
LES & DAVE - Pictured on the stage at the Sunset Festivals on the village green, this dynamic duo are regulars to WHAAM and rightly so. Once we give them a helping hand onto the stage these two pensioners own it! They have so much fun performing it's hard not to get swept away by them, such energy. A mix of covers from the 50's sung with the style that only Les & Dave can do.
CHERRY CIRCUS - Peter and Char are North Devons most beautiful couple and make up this acoustic duo. Char has an amazing voice while Peter plays guitar. They are wonderful to watch and a pleasure to listen too. A great addition to WHAAM and worth the ticket price alone!
LIBBY LAMONT - Libby will be making an appearance and performing her contortion act. She blew us away at Westward Ho!'s Got Talent with a well choreographed and excellently executed act. A worthy 3rd place in this years competition.
ROUGH JUSTICE - Noel and Greg make up this colourful pair of amazing musicians. A mix of 80's electro pop played with style and grace. A brilliant addition to the WHAAM line up, if you haven't seen Rough Justice before, you are in for a treat.
SARAH ANNE WESTACOTT DANCE STUDIO'S - Regulars to WHAAM and rightly so. These young dancers are just magical to watch, great choreographed routines, refreshing music and flowing dance. Always an amazing performance from this local dance school.
MILLIE BASSETT - Millie is a very brave little girl that won 2nd place in WH'sGT by conquering her fears. She was too scared to take to the stage to perform and after 5 minutes did. She captured the hearts of the audience and will be doing her cup song at WHAAM.
THE WYLDWOODS- It's with great joy we announce The Wyldwoods will be closing WHAAM for us this year. This ensemble of musicians is a pleasure to watch and even more so to listen too. They work a room really well and just have fun. You ready to end with bang?
