WESTWARD HO!'s GOT TALENT 2020

Launched as part of the 2018 Westward Ho! Sunset Festivals we introduced Westward Ho!'s Got Talent or WH'sGT for short. It was the highlight of the evenings drawing in people from far and wide. WH'sGT captured the hearts and minds of the audience, we made everyone that participated into stars, if only just for a few precious minutes.

IT'S BACK FOR 2019!! Bigger, louder, better and with more structure now it's in it's 2nd year

WH'sGT structure for 2019

Westward Ho!'s Got Talent will run simular to last year with a few tweaks!

Every week WH'sGT will be held on stage at the Sunset Festivals from 6.15pm to 7.15pm and will be hosted by Peter Sawyer.

Each week up to 10 rising stars will be able to take the spot light for a maximum of 5 minutes in front of a panel of judges. The best three acts of the night are chosen to go through.

The Finals are battled out on the 31st August from 5.15pm to 6.45pm, this will be the best 10 acts chosen from the previous weeks winners.

The winner is chosen by public poll and judges decision. Each judge can pick their favourite act and this is worth 50 standard votes.

The results of the 2019 WH'sGT competition will be revealed as part of the Westward Ho! Kipling Celebration on the 22nd September on the village green from 4pm to 5.30pm.

2020 WH'sGT

We want to hear from ALL performers for 2020 including singers, choirs, acrobats, jugglers, magicians anyone that has a talent. WH'sGT is all about giving  YOU a chance to shine on our stage.

We have PA, lights, smoke so just let us know how we can help making your act better. Singers, please bring your backing track on a phone pre loaded, we can run this through our PA system.

We DO find the future stars here in Westward Ho! One act really stood out...Never have any of us known anyone so devoted to winning a competition here in Westward Ho! Jack Johns entered at Tony The Tiger stunt team and also Wooly The Dancing Sheep.

Wooly The Dancing Sheep DID go to London to enter Britain's Got Talent, sadly Jack didn't get through but his act did. 2019 Britains Got Talent featured Ant, Dec and Stephen as Dancing Dogs?? This was Jacks act re worked. Almost famous!
