At high tide the beach does disappear while Mother Nature washes the sand ready for the next day! Bear this in mind when you are planning your day. As a rule of thumb, the beach will go 2 hours before high water and re appear 2 hours after high. This gives you time to explore Westward Ho! village or go for an adventure on Northam Burrows.
