The first ever event held in Westward Ho! by us was the RNLI HM Coastguard rescue day. It was a fun few hours on the water and getting to meet these great people that rescue us if needed.

Events at Westward Ho! are fun and exciting. We have been putting on events here since June 2016, our first events, when we held a RNLI/HM Coastguard rescue demonstration day. We had the inshore and offshore lifeboats show some water rescues, beach lifeguards demonstrate some rescues and had Westward Ho! Coastguard team on the green talking to people and showing their rescue equipment.

It was such a success events continued here. We have had Sunset Festivals, New Year Day Dips, Ho! Ho! Ho! Christmas event, Day Of The Dead Festivals to name only a few.

We still hold village events to bring the community and holiday makers together, some getting rather large now like the New Years Day Fancy Dress Dip. Want to know when they are?

Each has it's own event page and added to the calendar below-

Westward Ho!'s New Years day fancy dress dip brings thousands to westward Ho! to watch people run into the sea. Everyone dresses up and makes the beach a very happy place to be
The Sunset festivals at westward ho! were held on the village green, music, circus skills and westward Ho!'s got talent was all done
Events at Westward Ho! are really fun and well attended. The Day Of The Dead festival is held at the end of October and has fire performers, circus acts and singers
Northam Town Council support and attend our events here, a great bunch of forward thinking Councillors.
